With over 35+ years in sports journalism, Felipe Corral has dedicated his entire career to telling the stories that matter—on and off the field. As a multimedia digital reporter and proud member of the Emmy Silver Circle Society Members, his work has spanned youth leagues to world championships, always with a focus on the vibrant local multicultural sports community in Arizona.
From covering David Benavidez’s rise and Julio César Chávez Sr’s legacy to documenting the Diamondbacks’ historic 2001 World Series win, I’ve been front and center for the moments that shape sports history. Today, I continue that mission—amplifying voices, celebrating journeys, and capturing the heart of the game through storytelling that connects.
